Top Four Best Anime (….as of right now)

The best thing about Japanese anime series is once you start loving it, you will be addicted  forever. Japanese anime series’ are well-known for its thrilling and splendid story-line and the way it addicts people. And of course some of you might  like/hate some of the anime series for your own reason,  some claiming that their anime series are the best while some hating it, claiming that it was the worst… but it is your right to say anything about your favourite anime series.

So, without wasting our time, let’s see top four best, latest  Anime series from my point of views!

Gosick

I'm sure most of people are watching Gosick mostly because of Victorique cuteness. But don't ever forget about her relationship with Kazuya Kujo, the challenge that they faced while trying to solve the mystery that even the local detective are unable to solve it. The plot are good too, and I'm already waiting for the second season, if the producers are willing to continue it. ( I need to stop imagined that Victorique was my cute little sisters~)

Hanasaku Iroha

When her mother runs off with her latest boyfriend, Ohana Matsumae is sent to live with her grandmother, who she has never met nor spoken to. Her grandmother is not pleased to find Ohana on her doorstep, and sets her to work at her Taisho-era (1920s) hot springs inn. It's not a lifestyle that Ohana would have chosen, but she decides not to be discouraged and to make the most of her difficult circumstances.

Honestly, I feel pity for Ohana Matsumae/Ohana since her stupid mother are leaving her with her grandmother that she haven't' know before just to running away with his boyfriend. But it still a good anime to be watched, and if you like some drama anime, this is for you.

Otome Yokai Zakuro

I need to admit that I like some alternate historical movie, including this anime. Set in the pre-war Japan, when humans and spirits are living together, the stories begin when the Ministry of Spirits Affairs was formed to solved any problem between human and spirit (youkai) with human lieutenants Kei Agemaki, Riken Yoshinokazura, and Ganryu Hanakiri are partnered with half-spirit girls Zakuro, Susukihotaru, and twins Bonbori and Hozuki to form the Ministry of Spirit Affairs. However, Zakuro cannot stand humans who accept the Jesuit customs and Agemaki has a severe fear of spirits.

Here, you can find the conflict between human and youkai even in the era when Japan at that time have already modernized at that time. However, its also showing to us that human and youkai can living together when both of them are understanding each other.

Kamisama Dolls

Kyōhei, after moving away to Tokyo from his old village to get away from the events that happened, is on a group date with his friends, including his old neighbor, Hibino. After drinking for a whole night, he and Hibino discover a dead, bloody, body in the elevator. He is told by his younger sister Utao, who arrives from his village with her kakashi (NOTE: This is NOT an Kakashi from Naruto series, but an ancient wooden 'god' controlled by the mind), that his old friend Aki and his kakashi are the culprits responsible.

What I can say is if you didn't like any seinen anime, this is might not for you. But good plot and storylines has making me liking this anime, so I consider this is the third best anime that I ever watched before.

So, thats all for today.. What is your opinions, by the way?

Gosick: An romantic story between two world wars.

When we start talking about the 20's era, we might know about the Great Depression (which actually happened in the late of 20's)  jazz golden era and so on. The twenties were frivolity and fun; the thirties were a decade of agonizing social concern, of taking stands and building brave new worlds. Most vividly, the twenties seem to mean prosperity, boom times; while the thirties brought the Great Depression, the biggest economic bust in modern Western history.

Set in the fictional country of Sauville/Saubure in 1924, this story is about Kazuya Kujo, the main protagonist who studying aboard in St. Marguerite Academy where urban legends and horror stories are all the rage. There, he quickly gains the nickname of the Black Reaper due to his black hair and eyes, and rumours quickly spread that anyone who comes into contact with him will be met with misfortune. Also attending the school is Victorique de Blois, the daughter of a marquis and descendant of the “Gray Wolves”, a tribe known for their superior intelligence. Like Kujo, Victorique has gained the nickname of the Golden Fairy and spends her days hiding at the top of the academy’s library tower.

At first, Kazuya and Victorique seem like opposites. One is attributed to the colour black and naively gets involved with mysterious murders and other crimes. The other is associated with the colour gold and is able to solve any mystery with her wellspring of wisdom. What draws them together, though, are their similar circumstances. Kazuya and Victorique are both social outcasts and struggle to gain recognition and acceptance.

Um, are the flag on that picture are the flag of the Kingdom of Sauville/Saubure?
What making me like this anime is I like to watch the love/hate relationship between Kujo/Victorique. Even  she is mistreating him, we know that she is cared very deeply on him, as seen any times he in danger. She is also telling him to protect her in the future, which showing her feelings toward Kujo. But at the same time she is not the one who love Kujo; Avil Bradley, an international student from UK also have a feeling toward Kujo. Now I'm wondering if both of Victorique and Avril are fighting with each other to gain Kujo's attention..

As we know, the decade of 20's is an era between two world wars, which at the same time we saw the failure of liberal government in the most country of Europe. We have to remember at that time while the democracy have failed in Europe, most people are choosing totalitarian rule as solution of their problem, especially after liberalism and democratic system has failed to improving their conditions of their country. Like what happened in Saubure when Marquis de Blois has being appointed as the Prime Minister of Saubure, Marquis de Blois trying to making the peaceful country of Saubure as a another totalitarian states in Europe, while at the same time trying to maintain the monarchy.

I just hoped that the rabbit-head fascists won't singing Saubure's version of Comrade The Voice (an marching song of British Union of Fascists) while marching on the streets..
